figuring out the code would require you to realize the fox jumping over the dog relates to the code and requires you to know the phrase "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog". Then it requires you to place the phrase right to left on the glyph. I played through fez and never figured out the alphabet or the button codes as it is everything is so cryptic.

I begun to play this around 2015 or something. Now 2020 quarantine. I decided finish it and I found most intriguing puzzles were just nonsense traps. I've already concluded those glyphs were phonetically and rotating dependent and it just was needed a rossetta stone somewhere but there is not way one can make the relation between two actually living animals and a long ago forgotten ruins. Perhaps if the fox and dog were recorded on stone but as this is presented is imposible connect both things.

Just don't understand the logic between the simbology and the numbers.

For me, this is the reason I stopped playing the game. Ridiculous design with a ridiculous clue that almost nobody outside english speaking territory would get. A big "fuck you" to basically everyone who doesn't know about the goddam phrase. Great platform-puzzle game with terrible symbol shit on it that you MUST know in order to finish the game. And it's not just me. Basically every single person I know stopped playing at the exact point than me, for the same reason. I HATE games that basically forces you to check some wiki or forum to solve a situation. Zelda is a fucking masterpiece without that kind of shit.

I didim't think abou overllapping, just rotating the pieces, but go to the bell and my logic was not working, i think the major number in the system was a 9, like our system 0-9, but there's a 10, and i did the sums e the result was 9 to :( Fell ashamed to looking for a guide hand on this , fell so dumb now lol

Perfect sense. I don't see logic like this in the numerals we use, pictorially they just seem to represent themselves.

You guys are holding this rediculous game so high when the game is so poorly developed. You don't understand the puzzles because there is nothing to understand but you are making up this nonsence about how smart the developers are simply because you don't understand the game. Never does the game explain or suggests that one has to decipher codes and alphabets and never does the game gives you a guide about any of the symbols. One needs to go online and watch videos only to understand that in order to solve a puzzle one needs to do something that the game never suggested and does not have any logic that ties up with the information provided by the npcs. The game could have been great if you get all the info you need from the game play-you invest in game play and are rewarded with information. Instead you go online only to be surprised by solutions that are simply out of whack.

Quick correction. While charged spells have the same effects as a critical spell, it is NOT considered a critical by the game, meaning you CAN get a crit with a charged spell.

Thanks for the video! I do hope you can responded on my question. I would be so thankful. I just started this game, its amazing and mindfucking, i like it. Right at the beginning it already starts, in the boiler room, i started wondering. What are those rare signs. So...I went on to the second world, then you get information by dot, that you can see all other worlds and the one that are gold glazed are discovered etc etc. So i thought, what is up with that boiler room, because there was a secret mark on it, in the world map. I need to figure it out on the internet. Because there was no explanation or whatsover? So i don't really get that part of the game. Why isn't there something of a hint, or explanation about those puzzels. Or am i just want to fast? I watched your video, but i can't seem to see the logic to be honest. How did you decipher which glyph was which letter. Is there anywhere in the game were you get some hints? Or is it just a total guess, which sign is which letter? And after hours and hours you discover it. Please let me know. I want to understand, how. Then i can puzzel myself :)

The explanation for the heart piece puzzle is wrong. The entire sequence of the two red lights is a code in binary, that when translated into hexadecimal and then ASCII reveals the sequence of button prompts for the code.
